There are many amazing places in the world where magical trees grow. The magic leaf fairies live on their branches, which are full of incredibly beautiful flowers. However, the fairies are very difficult to spot because their little heads resemble blossoming tree buds, their slender bodies look like green branches, and their large wings, as well as their stylish and colorful clothes, are made of leaves.

The leaf fairies only eat flower nectar and spend their days flying around the world collecting fairy tales. They often pretend to be fallen leaves and, leaning against the window or sitting comfortably on the windowsill, listen to the fairy tales that adults read or tell their children. When they return home, they excitedly tell each other these tales. But all leaf fairies, without exception, change every fairy tale they hear, giving them a special meaning and making them uniquely their own.

Creative and mischievous by nature, the fairies share their tales with people in a magical way. They turn all their fairy tales into a sparkling magic dust and pour it into a magic bag made of flower petals. As soon as the sun sets, they fly the magic bag high into the sky. They then say the magic words “lily-dew, lily-dew, lily-dew,” and empty the magic bag into the air. The sparkling dust scatters all over the world, bringing people new fairy tales.

But one day, the usual life of leaf fairies had changed forever. On that day, everything was different from the early morning. Many more fairy tales appeared. They seemed to have come out of nowhere, turned themselves into the sparkling dust, filling up the magic bag to the brim. In fact, the magic bag was so full, it seemed that it was about to burst and scatter into thousands of petals. The fairies were very worried, but could not stop the magical creation of new fairy tales. With all their might, they barely lifted the bag off the soft green moss-covered ground, but the bag, as if alive, resisted and the fairies dropped it on the ground, scattering the sparkling dust all around.

The fairies were mystified by what was happening, but decided to sleep on it and deal with this puzzling issue in the morning. When the sun appeared above the horizon and illuminated the field where the magical tree stood, the fairies woke up and saw some strange creature before their eyes. It was huge, and at first glance resembled a mushroom. As the creature stared back at the surprised fairies with its no less surprised huge eyes, its mouth broke into a wide smile, and it cheerfully waved hello with its huge hands made of soft green moss.

The fairies stared at the stranger with their mouths open. His huge hat seemed to be made of fluffy green balls and on the inside it looked like a universe with bright stars. The flowing multicolored hair and beard made the stranger look absolutely otherworldly.

“I am Shroom” said the stranger and moved towards the leaf fairies, leaving footprints on the soft green moss with his huge feet. This is how the leaf fairies learned the reason why that one day was so extraordinary. When they dropped the magic bag on the moss-covered ground, some of the sparkling dust fell on the magic mold, out of which the magical character Shroom was born.

Now the fairies are very happy to have such a wonderful friend and cannot even imagine their life without him ever again.
